The Top Five Places on My Travel Bucket List
Occasionally, I get in a traveling mood. All I do is look at
pictures on Pinterest and blog posts from the travel bloggers I follow, and
daydream about traveling to those beautiful and picturesque locations one day.
It’s always been a dream of mine to travel, not just to every state in this
country, but also around the world. I thought it would be fun to make a list of
five places I want to travel to throughout my life.
ONE ///// PARIS
How could I even make a travel bucket list without including Paris??
Everything about this city is so timeless and romantic. From looking at artwork
at The Louvre, to riding along the Seine and getting the perfect view of the
Eiffel Tower, to walking through the historical Notre Dame Cathedral, there is
something that peaks every one of my interests. Not to mention the macarons
look absolutely mouth-watering. Like Audrey Hepburn once said, “Paris is always
a good idea.”
TWO ///// ITALY
When it comes to Italy, I can’t even narrow it down to one
city to put on this list, so I have to just add the whole country. All of Italy
is beautiful and I don’t think I could visit it without going to at least five
different cities. The views of the Mediterranean from Amalfi are breathtaking,
the history of Rome is so intriguing, and Venice is just so romantic. And of
course you can’t beat endless meals of pasta and pizza. Oh, and some authentic
Italian gelato.
THREE ///// GREECE
Every time I see a picture of the white and blue buildings
along the mountainside leading down to the Mediterranean, I just have to stare.
The aesthetic of Greece is unlike any other and travelling there would be a
dream come true.
FOUR ///// LONDON
There are so many attractions in London that I would love to
see: Big Ben, Tower Bridge, the London Eye, and of course Buckingham Palace. I
would love to just sit outside by the Thames River sipping some hot tea and
listening to everyone talk in their lovely accents. Eating some of their
infamous fish and chips would be pretty nice too!
FIVE ///// GERMANY
Germany is just absolutely beautiful in my opinion. The neat structure of the buildings, the gorgeous mountains, and it's home to the Neuschwanstein Castle which is probably one
of the prettiest things I’ve ever seen. I mean, who wouldn’t want to tour a literal
castle that looks like it should be in a Disney Princess Movie? Not to mention,
the landscape around it is equally as beautiful, especially in the winter when
it is covered in snow.
I have a lot of goals and dreams that I want to accomplish in
my lifetime, but traveling the world is definitely towards the top, and I
really hope that I can make that dream a reality some day!
