my favorite podcasts

Once I started going to college, I started listening to podcasts. I listen to them on my walk to class and also when I'm driving home and back to school on the weekends. If I'm not listening to a podcast then I'll be listening to music. There's nothing wrong with that, but I'd rather be listening to something that I'll learn something from, especially when it is a long walk or drive. Here are five of my favorites to listen to that I highly recommend and think you will enjoy.

one ///// as for me and my house by jordan and milena ciciotti

I’ve been watching Milena’s videos on youtube for probably about a year now and absolutely love her. She is so down to earth, loves Jesus, is hilarious, has amazing style, and the CUTEST baby girl ever (no exaggeration whatsoever). I look forward to Mondays and Fridays every week because I know she’ll be posting a new video. She and her husband recently created their own podcast and I have loved it so much as well. They are both hilarious and have so many good things to talk about that involve big topics in faith. They’ve talked about things like evolution vs. creation, easter, parenting, social media, and so many more interesting things. Just like Milena’s videos, I look forward to every wednesday because I know a new podcast episode from them will be up.

two ///// relatable by allie beth stuckey

I haven’t listened to her podcast as much lately because she talks a lot about political issues and I’ve been on a “politics cleanse” if you will because of how much unnecessary stress it brought into my life (that can be a whole different post). But I do think it’s important to look at big political issues with a biblical perspective. It’s so easy to follow the opinions of a big figure in politics, but we need to be able to form our own, and those need to be based on God’s truth. Other than political episodes, she also has a lot of theology and faith episodes which are really good as well. She posts every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

three ///// behind the scenes with jeremy and audrey roloff

I just recently started listening to this podcast, but it might be my new favorite. I love listening to them and they always have really good things to talk about. They talk about everything from faith, to family, to home, to health. They do a lot of episodes just the two of them, but they also have a lot of episodes with guest speakers which are always really good. The people they have on their podcast are always very insightful and have really good information about so many different topics. I've been listening to them nonstop lately because it is so good.

four ///// she podcast with jordan lee dooley

I love Jordan. She is so inspiring and always has the most amazing instagram and blog posts. I love reading everything she has to say about so many topics, so I was so excited when she started her podcast a while ago. She talks about faith, friends, careers, money, relationships, and so many more things. She also has some guests on her podcast every once in a while and they always have really good information and I always learn so much from all of her episodes.

five ///// the porch

This podcast is the audio from a young adult's church service held in Dallas, Texas and, wow, are they amazing. Some of them have even brought me to tears, which, one, is pretty hard to do, and two, is sometimes unsafe because I'm normally listening to them while I'm driving haha. They touch on so many big topics that are so relevant in today's culture and I always learn and take away so much from each episode/service. I would love to be able to go to one of the services sometime in the future!
