one ///// 2000s country music
On the mission trip we listened to a country playlist that one of the boys made and it was so good. It's basically been the only thing I've listened to since we've been back. It's one of those playlists where you say "Ooh this is a good one" for every song that comes on. It has songs from Rodney Atkins, Kenny Chesney, Josh Turner, Lonestar, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith and more (but those five are my favorites haha). I like modern country, but I like that older country is about more than just girls anddrinking (at least most of the time).
two ///// the library
This one makes me sound so nerdy haha, but I spend so much money on books. I have a library card but hadn't used it in probably like a year, so I decided to go one day and was actually kind of surprised at how many books they had that were on my "to read" list since our library is so small.
three ///// RX Bars
The first time I had one of these I didn't like it very much, but now I am obsessed with them. There are so many different flavors and they're all made out of natural ingredients which is awesome. My favorite kind is the chocolate hazelnut. One of the chocolate hazelnut bars has 210 calories, so it's not a super low calorie snack, but it does have 12 grams of protein which I think is really good for how small the bar is.
four ///// Patchouli oil
I recently got a bottle of patchouli oil and I love it. It smells amazing and is supposed to help with anxiety, acne, excema, fatigue, indigestion, insomnia, and multiple other things.
five ///// Jane the Virgin
I watched all three seasons that are on netflix a couple years ago with my mom and just recently started watching it again by myself. It's just so funny, but also makes you smile and cry sometimes too which is awesome.
six ///// the Behind the Scenes podcast with Jeremy and Audrey Roloff
I've followed Jeremy and Audrey on instagram for a while, but only recently started listening to their podcast. I've been really loving it so far. They talk about all kinds of stuff from relationships to faith to home stuff to lifestyle stuff. I highly recommend checking it out. I'm planning on making a post sometime in the next couple weeks of all the podcasts I've been loving, so be on the look out for that.
seven ///// the ocean
I love the ocean. It’s my favorite place to be, andI really wish that I lived closer to it. Going to the ocean two weeks ago was so nice and it made me want to go back again soon. There’s just something about it that is so relaxing and that just makes me so happy. I can’t wait until the next time I’m there (and hopefully maybe live down there someday :) ).
eight ///// sweet tea
I’ve always loved sweet tea but stopped drinkingit for a while because I was drinking it too much.Like a couple years ago I would go through McDonalds like every day after school to get some sweet tea haha. I had it a lot while we were down in South Carolina (i mean, how can you go downsouth and not drink sweet tea?) and remembered just how much I love it. Luckily I think I can control myself and not drink it every day like I usedto do.
nine ///// she reads truth app
I used to use this app all the time but then switched to doing some devotionals from the Bible app. I liked them all and they have a ton to choose from, but for some reason I felt like I wasn’t getting as much out of them as I did from the devotionals and reading plans on the she reads truth app and I didn’t enjoy them as much. Like I never wanted to do them which is kind of weird for me. I switched back a few weeks ago and have loved all the ones I’ve done so far and have grown to love my devotional time again.
