June Favorites

I wrote a few of these in the past and want to start doing them again more regularly, so for today's post I'm making a list of my favorite things I used/did in June.

one ///// my hydroflask

Wow. I've heard so many good things about hydroflasks but was kind of skeptical. I mean it's kind of expensive for a water bottle. But, oh my word. I have never loved a water bottle more. I fill it up at night before I go to bed with water and ice (not a ton of ice, mind you) and it STILL has ice in it in the morning. I mean, come on. How amazing is that??

two ///// essential oils

I bought a new and bigger diffuser at Marshall's a couple weeks ago and I have been obsessed with it ever since. I put a blend in at night before I go to bed and a couple in throughout the day. I want to start learning more about them and get some more oils. I'm planning on writing about my favorite oils, blends, and what I use them for once I learn more about them and get better acquainted with using them.

three ///// spin class

I have heard so many people rave about spin classes, so I decided to try it at the YMCA I'm a member at and absolutely love it! It makes me sweat a lot, which is something that's hard to do. It takes a lot to make me sweat, so I know that these classes are a great workout. They're also so fun. I hate doing cardio because I get so bored with it, but these classes fly by and I enjoy every second of it (well, maybe not the seconds I can't feel my legs haha).

four ///// tula skincare

I have very sensitive skin and the face wash I was using at the beginning of the summer was not working. I kept breaking out no matter what I did. Multiple people I follow swear by Tula, so I decided I wanted to try it. I was kind of nervous to try it because it was $25 which is way more than my usual $12 face wash from Rite Aid, but I figured that since my skin is so sensitive to things, I need to start using products that are truly made well. After using it for probably almost two months now, I can say that I absolutely love it! My break outs have subsided so much, and the overall complexion of my skin is so much smoother and more even. The bottle has also lasted forever, so it's definitely worth the extra money in my opinion.

five ///// plants

I got a plant for my dorm room window sill a couple weeks before I moved out and I love it. I love taking care of it and it makes me so excited to see it growing. It's like my little baby.

six ///// the enneagram

I have always been interested in personalities and have recently become obsessed with the enneagram. Like, I find myself trying to figure out what type every one I come in contact with is. It is nine personality types that are all interconnected. I am a five and I think it's amazing how well everything I've read about fives explains me, and it makes me laugh how true all the memes are. I loved the book about the enneagram "The Road Back to You," and highly recommend it if you're even a slight bit interested in learning more about it.
