2020 favorites

If you know me or if you've been reading my blog for a while, you probably know that I love reading, and listening to music and podcasts. I also love reading blogs or watching videos where people share their favorite things, resources, books, etc. So I thought it would be fun to combine those two things and share with you my favorite music, books, podcast episodes, and YouTube videos from this past year that I would recommend everyone to listen to, read, or watch. Some things are more educational and resourceful, and others are just fun things that I wanted to share because of how much I loved them. 

Music:

Obviously I didn't learn anything from these songs, but this past year I really started to love listening to music and searching for good songs and good artists. There was rarely a day that I didn't listen to some type of music at some point in the day. My three favorite genres are Christian/Worship music, Indie music (like alternative, folk, and rock), and country, so here are some of my favorite songs from those three genres:

Books:

I read a lot and I basically included every book that I read this year because I loved them all. I split these into genres too to make it a little easier. I read a lot of Christianity books, political science/politics books, and non-fiction (mostly psychological thrillers).

Podcast Episodes: 

I love listening to podcasts while I drive. These four are my favorites that I listen to all the time, but there are also a lot more that I listen to occasionally. These are all either about Christianity or politics or a little mix of both. I love listening to podcasts because I learn so much from them, and I highly recommend listening to all of these. I know there are a lot, but they each give so much good information about topics that I think are so important to learn and be knowledgeable about right now.

Some of these are just for entertainment, but the majority of them are really good if you want good information on different topics within Christianity (and a few about homesteading haha).
