Things

 ///// taking care of my plants

    It's so fun to nurture and take care of something everyday, especially when you can start to tell that its growing and staying healthy.

///// watching One Tree Hill with my parents

    I recommend this show to anyone that loves a show that can make you laugh, cry, and nervous all in one episode.

///// baking

    It's so relaxing and can help to take your mind off all the things going on in the world for a little bit.

///// yoga

    I've been doing a mix of power and Vinyasa yoga (good for strength and cardio), and Hatha yoga (good for relaxation and stretching) throughout the week and I've felt so much stronger and way less stressed. I made this post about why I love yoga way back when I first started this blog, but I want to make another one soon.

///// using castile soap for face wash

    I only use five drops mixed with water so the bottle lasts forever. I've had it since January and it's still almost completely full. It's also so much cleaner than normal face washes because it doesn't have all of the harsh chemicals that do more harm than good to your skin and body in the long run.

///// Simple Gospel- United Pursuit

Books

///// The Green Mile by Stephen King

    So good if you like suspenseful books that also have a lot of meaning and make you cry multiple times. It's not scary even though its written by Stephen King, so you don't have to worry about that. Paul Edgecome, the head prison guard on death row, is the main character and narrator. When John Coffey, a man with the body of a giant but the mind of a child, arrives, Paul knows something is different about him. When he finds out the truth about John, Paul is forced to go through one of the biggest challenges he's ever had to face.

///// The Selection series by Kiera Cass

    I read this in junior high and have read it multiple times since, but no matter how many times I read it it's still amazing. It's basically The Bachelor, but in a future version of America and the Prince is choosing the new princess from a group of thirty-some girls. I'm pretty sure it's meant for teenage girls, but I still love it haha.

///// The Sacred Enneagram by Christopher L. Heuertz

    This is probably the best book about the Enneagram I've ever read. Instead of just going through the basics like a lot of the others do, this one takes you through in-depth descriptions, how each type can recognize the negative aspects of their personality, and how they can fix those things. It also brought Christianity into it way more than other books have which I really liked.

///// Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis

    This is a book that I think every Christian and everyone who is confused or skeptical about what they believe should read. He goes through all of the basics of the Gospel, but delivers them in such an excellent and powerful way.

Bible Verses

///// "However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me- the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace." -Acts 20:24

///// "Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise- the fruit of lips that openly profess his name." -Hebrews 13:15

///// "He proclaimed the Kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ- with all boldness and without hindrance." -Acts 28:31

///// "Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners- of whom I am the worst." -1 Timothy 1:15

///// "I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God." - 1 Timothy 2:9-10

///// "But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God?" -Romans 9:20a

///// "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity." -1 Timothy 4:12
